It seems every other month when you read the news, a lot of price increased in essential items. First it was petrol, then sugar, then chicken and our salary or income is never increase by our bosses to keep up with the times. Yes your boss might give an annual bonus but how much can it sustain your monthly expenditures?
It is inevitable but a lot of us have to look for an alternate income or a second job. It doesn’t have to be a lot and replace our primary income but just enough to offset the price increase. However not everyone can take up a second job, what with kids or spouse to attend to at home.
That is why work from home jobs are the best solution for almost everyone but we want something practical and easy. Internet has made this possible. The world wide web has made countless of billionaires or even millionaires. We even have a few successful stories from our local backyard of Malaysia.
However, before I share with you one of the easiest ways to make money, you have to bear in mind that whatever you do, you have to put in the effort and keep at it. There are already hundreds of people trying their hands at making money online but many failed simply because they thought they will be rich overnight. Just because you know how to make money online doesn’t mean you will earn money online.
Ya I know it was easy but from my personal opinion, easy means you don’t have to sweat, you don’t have to drive your car to another location and most important of all, you don’t have another boss to suck up to.
When you work from home job, you are your own boss. If you have 2 hours to spare at night, then use that 2 hours to work for yourself. If you want to spend just an hour while the other hour you want to watch a movie, then go ahead. Hey, if you want to use your whole 2 hours to watch movie then go right ahead. Just don’t make it a habit or you will lose out on making money for yourself! You decide which is important for you.
There are a hundred and one ways to make money online but for a beginner, I would suggest blogging just like what I am doing. I’ve tried my hands on other methods but blogging is the best by far. Sometimes luck plays a part too but I believe in making your own luck, and it seems I found my lucky stars in blogging and I stuck by it.
Before You Start Blogging From Home
So are you eager to start? Okay don’t get too excited, before you do anything, you must decide what niche you want to blog about. Niche is sort of like a theme or market. There are millions of niches, from bicycles, remote control cars, collectible toys, hardwares, gaming, photography, room decoration – you name it, someone’s already done it and most probably enjoying internet money from their interest or hobby.
But if somebody has already done it, wouldn’t my blog just be cluttering the internet? Well here’s the secret, if your blog is made up of quality content, it will rise to the top and survive for years to come. Besides, there are a lot of internet money for everyone. There is pie for everyone.
How to make your blog a quality blog? Easy, you must have an interest in what you are blogging about. Do you like gaming? Then blog about gaming. You like gardening, then blog about gardening. The more specific your blog is, the better. For example, instead of just gaming blog, try to blog about a genre of games like racing games or 1st person shooter. Or better about 1 specific game title like World of Warcraft.
For gardening, if you like to nurture vegetables instead of flowers, then blog about that. Take pictures, update your progress and interact with other gardening blogs.
The important thing is, you must have an interest in your blog topic. Without any interest or passion, you will dump your project after a few weeks and will look for another topic. Blogging requires you to write and read a lot on the topic, so obviously you must have an interest in it.
Personal or family blog does not count however. Blogging about how your day went and how you got mad when somebody cut in-front of you on the highway doesn’t really bring in the money.
Find Your Interest
So now, check what interest you (if you don’t already know). Write down on a piece of paper if you have several interests or hobbies. See which one you like the most. If you go to a local bookstore, which aisle do you go to? Are reading fashion? Are you reading about cars? Yatchs maybe?
What if you have several hobbies? Do a separate individual search on each of these terms, look around each website. See which has more advertisements, in terms of adsense or banners. Obviously we want to choose a niche that has a supply and demand in it. If all of them looks similar, then just pick any to your liking. You will know how to make money online from them later.
Once you have found your passion, do a search on it and see what other sites that has its niche centered around it. If you feel like reading them and wants to do a blog or site just like that, then you have found your niche!
And finding your niche is your first step in starting a blog! Before long, you know how to make money online.
